Fixed Oils

In the essential oils industry, “fixed oils” refer to non-volatile oils derived from botanical ingredients. Also known as “carrier oils” or “base oils,” these products do not evaporate as quickly as conventional essential oils and retain a relatively long shelf life. Many of these oils are obtained through cold-pressing, solvent extraction, or maceration of plant material such as seeds, nuts, or fruits. They are often used as a medium for other essential oils and natural products, making them safe for topical application and aiding in their absorption into the skin.

Berjé carries a growing range of fixed oils for use in food, skincare, cosmetics, massage therapy, aromatherapy, and countless other industries. These products are commonly valued for their nourishing and moisturizing properties, making them exceptionally versatile for use alongside other flavor and fragrance materials. Fixed oils are also often high in fatty acids and natural vitamins, which is exceptionally important in beauty and wellness products.
