Berjé’s Upcycled Ingredients showcase the beauty of resource diversity and innovation at-source. These products fully embrace the sustainable and regenerative nature behind our botanicals from around the world – botanicals that play an irreplaceable role in local economies, regional agriculture, and the global flavor and fragrance industry.

Our portfolio of Upcycled Ingredients includes everything from industry staples like Texas Cedarwood and California Lemon to more niche items such as Beeswax Absolute and Bulgarian Rose Water. All ingredients in this portfolio are produced using reclaimed raw materials that would have otherwise been discarded or ignored by other industries. Some of our partners, such as Waterfall Health Farms in South Africa, have also started their own upcycling programs. These widespread upcycling initiatives provide a vital service to local growing communities, as they ensure the entire production process botanical ingredients remains economically and environmentally sustainable for future generations.

Berjé has also developed our own line of proprietary upcycled citrus ingredients – Berjé Citrus Solutions. This range includes products such as Lemon EE™ and Orange EE™, both of which utilize the natural “side stream” materials produced during the citrus juice extraction process.
