The new carrot seed oil crop is expected to begin shortly, with early forward interest already seen in the market. Pricing is expected to be in line with last year, although final indications are not yet confirmed. 

U.S. mint oils remain at elevated price levels. The market continues to show regional divergence, with buyers balancing origin choice based on price and application needs. 

Ginger oil prices are trending upward, driven by ongoing market pressure and supply dynamics. Buyers may see continued upward movement in the near term. 

Garlic oil prices remain elevated, reflecting continued cost pressure within the market. Availability is stable but firm, with no immediate signs of price softening. 

Gurjun balsam oil is in very short supply, primarily due to prolonged rainfall affecting production. Availability is extremely limited and prices have risen significantly, with current indications showing a sharp increase compared to previous levels. 

Cardamom oil prices have eased slightly across both major origins. Supply is currently stable, and Berjé is well positioned in the market. The current environment presents a good opportunity for forward sales activity. 

Lemongrass oil from Guatemala is expected to remain limited for the remainder of the year. Supply constraints are likely to persist, and buyers should plan accordingly as availability may tighten further over the coming months. 

Davana oil continues to see strong demand, with the new crop expected at the end of March into early April. Early lots have faced quality issues, which may delay availability slightly. Market interest remains high, and supply will depend on successful validation of incoming material. 

Nutmeg oil remains available with stable supply conditions. Berjé is well positioned, and the market currently presents good opportunities for sales. While overall demand remains steady, availability is not currently a concern compared to other spice-derived materials. 

Citronella oil remains in very tight supply across all origins. Oregano oil supply remains tight following a short crop. Turkish material continues to command higher prices, while Hungarian origin has softened slightly. Demand from the spice market has absorbed much of the available supply, and limited carryover is expected ahead of the next harvest. 

Indian mint oils are reasonably stable. The market continues to show regional divergence, with buyers balancing origin choice based on price and application needs. 

Grapefruit production outlook is mixed by region, with Florida volumes projected lower year on year while California and Mexico are slightly improved.

Key lime oil supply is currently tight, particularly in organic grades, where no additional availability is expected until the next season. Peru is in peak production, though logistics and vessel capacity remain a constraint for exports.

Spanish supply is tight, with more fruit diverted to fresh channels and higher oil pricing reported. Replacement costs are rising, and buyers should expect firmer offers and reduced flexibility on forward pricing. 

Mexican lime oil is transitioning between winter and summer crop cycles, with the larger summer harvest expected earlier than usual.

Argentina’s lemon crop finished slightly below average, with new oil availability expected from April.

Brazil’s orange harvest is nearing completion with final volumes tracking below early forecasts. Fruit pricing has softened recently, and juice yields remain good. Mexican production is steady with Valencia fruit now entering the cycle. Market tone is mixed to firm depending on specification and origin.

Farmers have replaced the citronella plantations with more profitable crops.  The remaining plots were flooded and destroyed during the last Monsoon.  No availability from source at the moment, prices are firm.
