Cassia Oil Vietnam is steam-distilled from the bark, leaves, and twigs of the Cinnamomum cassia tree, also known as “Chinese Cinnamon” or “Cassia-cinnamon.” Not to be confused with cinnamon bark oil, which is derived from a completely different location and botanical, this material imparts a strong, spicy, woody-sweet aroma that many consumers associate with “cinnamon” flavors and fragrances.
