Steam distilled from the classic Citrus aurantifolia lime plant, Lime Oil Distilled is an extremely fresh and zesty essential oil commonly used throughout both the flavor and fragrance industry. Sharp and somewhat terpenic, this oil has an odor that is heavily reminiscent of the freshly squeezed fruit from which it is derived. Its fruity, refreshing flavor makes it an extremely popular choice among soft drinks, candies, alcoholic beverages, and many other kinds of food products. Functionally identical to Lime Oil.
