Guaiacwood Oil (CITES)

Description

Distilled from the fragrant wood of the Bulnesia Sarmienti tree, Guaiacwood Oil has a dry and woody aroma, with a unique smokey nuance that is frequently utilized in its odor application. This oil’s peppery, sweet aroma also retains a powdery balsamic note that makes it especially popular in soaps, spice oils, and floral perfumes. The oil also has a somewhat rose-like, velvety aroma which can be highlighted in blends containing amyris, sandalwood, and rose de mai absolute.
