Description
Cold-pressed from the peels of the Citrus reticulata fruits, Mandarin Oil Green is mainly produced in Brazil and Italy. The oil gets its color from the green coloration pigments found within fruits that have been harvested before their ripeness. If left to ripen over time, green mandarin can also be used for yellow or red mandarin oils, as they all come from the same botanical. The aroma of green mandarin oil contains a unique floral top note derived from the presence of anthranilates within the essential oil. This allows the oil to work well as a modifier within a variety of fragrance applications, especially in citrus or floral accords. Mandarin oil green is commonly found in mango, peach, and apricot profiles.
