Citronella Oil

Citronella oil remains in very tight supply across all origins. Reduced planting in recent years, driven by historically low prices, combined with ongoing heavy rainfall impacting yields, has significantly limited availability. Import volumes are currently low, and prices remain firm, with market conditions expected to stay constrained in the near term. 

Prices remain firm since availability is limited.  The rainy season is strong, and flooding has been reported to damage several crops.   

Limited availability. Quality challenges and prices are increasing. Floods in Sumatra affected the production in that area.

Citronella oil supply is limited. Farmers have removed plantations to grow more profitable crops. Demand is high and prices continue to firm.
