  Indonesian patchouli oil prices have risen sharply in recent weeks following prolonged dry weather and concerns over the potential impact of a Super El Niño on production. The introduction of Indonesia’s BPAP export certification has also slowed shipments, further tightening availability. 

  The market is seeing a wide range of qualities and prices. Lower-priced material is available from some suppliers, although it may differ significantly in quality or composition from premium Indonesian oils. 

  With weather uncertainty and export delays continuing, the market is likely to remain firm in the near term.
